Lake Highlands has continually been recognized as one of the area's top rated high schools. Students have excelled in academics, fine arts and athletics. Lake Highland's teachers have been recognized by their students, peer groups, universities and colleges as outstanding educators.

Academic excellence comes with a price. Funding for public schools in Texas has suffered, and that has put the academic programs that enrich our student's education in jeopardy. The Lake Highlands Foundation was established to provide funds for programs and resources that will allow Lake Highlands High School to continue to produce outstanding graduates.
